Position Summary

The OBGYN Physician provides comprehensive medical services to patients of all ages, with a focus on women’s health. This role supports the delivery of safe, efficient, and effective clinical care and contributes to a culture of excellence in patient services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Optional OUTPATIENT ONLY
  • Examine patients to assess health status and establish preventive care practices.
  • Record detailed medical histories and order diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Analyze test results and diagnose conditions.
  • Administer treatments and prescribe medications.
  • Educate patients on wellness, hygiene, and disease prevention.
  • Recommend dietary and physical activity plans.
  • Administer immunizations and perform surgical procedures within scope.
  • Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
  • Supervise and mentor family practice residents.
  • Participate in clinical meetings and maintain accurate documentation.
Qualifications
  • Licensed by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners.
  • Board eligible or certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred.
  • High ethical standards and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and relate to culturally diverse populations.
  • Comfortable Leading Department of 2 Nurse Practitioners and support staff.
  • Excellent communication skills;
    Spanish speaking is a plus, not recommended.
  • Ability to interpret complex medical documents.
  • No On-Call

Schedule
  • Flexible full-time hours M-F 8AM to 5PM or 7AM- 4PM,
