Administrative Assistant-Job Location-Richmond, TX
Provides administrative and clerical service and support to the department.
Accepts payment and proper documentation for reservations
Provides customer service to the public;
Answers questions, directs to proper area or person.
Responsible for entering requisitions to obtain a purchase order when needed.
Runs monthly reports required by the County Auditor's office, as well as, create memos, reports and documents as needed for the department.
Assists in developing the department's annual budget.
Responsible for entering work orders when needed.
Assists the proper personnel with contract for the departments field user agreements.
Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma/GED.
3 years job related office/clerical experience.
Excellent computer and typing skills; working knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing and database software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively with others.
Strong bookkeeping and organizational skills.
Ability to complete assigned tasks within tight deadlines and to prioritize own and others' work.
Daily work may require being able to lift up to 50lbs and other physical demands that may occur during a shift.
Prefer someone with good customer service skills and ability to deal with the public with a positive attitude.
SALARY RANGE: $18.31-$22.89 per hour based on qualifications
