Position Summary
Richmond Health Care Center is seeking a professional, dependable, and detail-oriented Receptionist with Accounts Payable experience to serve as the first point of contact for our facility. This role plays a critical part in creating a welcoming environment for residents, families, vendors, and visitors while also supporting the Business Office with accounts payable functions and assisting with facility transportation needs. This position requires strong organizational skills, confidentiality, professionalism, and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.

- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Reports To: Administrator
- Front Desk / Reception Duties
- Greet and assist residents, families, visitors, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer and route incoming phone calls promptly and professionally
- Maintain visitor sign‑in logs and vendor logs
- Manage incoming/outgoing mail and deliveries
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Support the administrative team with clerical tasks as assigned
- Accounts Payable Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices accurately and timely
- Match purchase orders with invoices
- Enter invoices into accounting system
- Maintain vendor files and records
- Assist with monthly accounts payable reconciliation
- Communicate with vendors regarding billing inquiries
- Support the Administrator and Business Office Manager as needed
- Transportation Responsibilities
- Safely drive the facility van for:
- Resident appointments
- Pharmacy runs
- Facility‑related errands
- Maintain transportation logs
- Ensure vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance needs
- Follow all safety and resident supervision protocols

- Assist the Administrator and department heads with special projects
- Support compliance documentation and administrative reporting
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous receptionist experience preferred
- Accounts Payable or bookkeeping experience required
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (required)
- Experience in a healthcare or long‑term care setting preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
