The Work You’ll Be DoingIn this role, you will:
- Program and optimize multi‑axis CNC turning centers
- Set up and validate new machining processes
- Select tooling, determine work holding, and refine cutting strategies
- Develop setup sheets and process documentation
- Estimate cycle times, tooling cost, and production flow
- Perform first‑article validation and in‑process troubleshooting
- Adjust feeds, speeds, offsets, and tool paths to maintain quality
- Train and support setup machinists and operators
- Collaborate with leadership, planners, QC, and machinists
- Support compliance with ISO 9001 / AS9100 quality standards
