$15.00 to $17.50 per hour
Commission structure: easily achievable commission paid on every transaction processed. Retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, averaging an additional $7.50 per hour on top of the hourly rate.

We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager with at least six months of management or 3rd key experience. The role accounts for day‑to‑day store operations and promoting a positive/productive environment. The Assistant Store Manager partners with the Store Manager to lead and develop store employees, recruit and retain talent, maximize financial goals, and manage customer relations. The position sets a customer‑centric tone.
Alongside the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager analyzes store financial statements to ensure financial goals are met. The candidate is required to commit to the company’s asset protection program, promote the business, and target new customer acquisitions. Employees work with a wide variety of products—including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.
The role offers an hourly wage, with commission based on productivity and a bonus based on store performance. Pay varies by location, qualifications, and experience.
Responsibilities of an Assistant Store Manager- Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and promptly addressing customer issues.
- Monitor and assist in the training of pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards.
- Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through prescribed channels.
- Open and close the store, including counting cash drawers and merchandise and ensuring all procedures are followed to protect assets.
- Ensure asset protection through inventory control, property safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans.
- Administer processes and procedures within the store, including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, store systems, and enterprise‑level reporting.
- Evaluate the store’s financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal setting.
- Ensure that operating standards meet or exceed First Cash standards.
- Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to ensure the value and integrity of all loans issued.
- Complete assigned tasks and training for self‑development as requested.
- Communicate clearly with employees to ensure they understand the store’s mission and profit objectives.
- Remain up‑to‑date on product knowledge.
- Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods of time, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
- Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others.
