Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a qualified RN for a Cath Lab position with EPIC experience and a KY or compact license.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital Cath Lab setting
- Day shift: 6:00am to 3:30pm, 4 shifts per week (9.5 hours each)
- Care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures
- Responsible for circulating and assisting with heart catheterizations
- Uses EPIC for computerized documentation
- Must provide care and monitoring before, during, and after catheterization procedures
- Expected to work collaboratively with the Cath Lab team
- Two professional references are required for consideration
- Active KY or compact RN license required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- At least 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
- Experience with administration and monitoring of procedural sedation needed
- Ability to circulate procedures and manage right and left heart catheterizations
- Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring required
- EPIC documentation experience is required
- Scrub experience is preferred
