Job Summary /Basic Functions

The SSMC Student Coordinator is responsible for basic organizing and daily cleaning of spaces; greeting student users and providing information on the SSMC; and ensuring a safe experience for all users.

Minimum Qualifications

* Must be a Federal Work Study student.

* Applicants must be able to work independently

* Attend to details and execute normal opening, monitoring, and closing procedures for the SSMC.

* Maintain cordial welcoming attitude with SSMC student users.

* Continually demonstrate equanimity and excellent communication with the OS & OT Administrative Coordinator,the faculty directors of the SSMC, and other EKU faculty, staff, and administration.

* Preferred majors include Occupational Science, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Psychology, Social Work, Communication Disorders, Special Education, Education, Child and Family Studies, or Public Health.
