• Safely transports passengers to and from extracurricular activities, events and athletic competitions.

• High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSD or GED)

• 2 years driving experience

• Possess a valid driver's license with the ability to be insured by Indiana University
• A Class B CDL with air brake and passenger endorsement (the university will pay for training if necessary)

• Proficient communication skills
• Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner
• Time management skills
• Highly thorough and dependable
• Knowledge of traffic rules and regulations and safety precautions and practices in the operation of public transportation vehicles
• Strong customer service skills essential for interacting with passengers, other drivers, and pedestrians

This position requires availability to work weekends and overnight trips and the ability to maintain written documentation of driving assignments.

• Ability to know your location in relation to the environment or knowing where other objects are in relation to you and your vehicle.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions, hear and understand verbal instructions and to maintain legible records.
• Position requires availability for weekend and overnight trips.
