Quality Inspector - D Shift

Overview

Job Summary:

Quality inspector is responsible for reviewing products and materials during manufacturing to ensure they meet quality requirements. Must be willing to work D Shift: Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Every Other Sunday, 7PM to 7AM. $2 per hour shift differential applies to this position.

• Approving or rejecting material with respect to quality standard.
• Discuss production results with the production team.
• Maintain inspection reports.
• Uphold company safety measures.
• Generate certificate of conformance or certificate of analysis.
• Ensure test equipment is calibrated and working correctly.
• Verify that production adheres to quality standards and procedures, by pulling samples to test using the appropriate methods and tools.
• Other duties as assigned

• Minimum of a High school diploma. Would prefer a degree related to quality or manufacturing.
• Ability to work alone with minimal supervision.
• Must have organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to interact in a professional manner with employees.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Working understanding of Excel and Word
