TSA, a Ryerson family company, has an exciting opportunity for a Bi- lingual (Spanish) Operations Supervisor. In this role, you will oversee plant operations, including production equipment, shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
Roles and Responsibilities- Understand production goals and implement necessary actions to meet objectives.
- Participate in Performance Management Process (PMP).
- Support company policies, goals, and objectives.
- Understand quality goals and ensure actions meet ISO 9000 standards.
- Review plant supply inventory and advise purchasing when levels are low.
- Ensure effective training and oversee completion of training checklists.
- Communicate with other departments and locations.
- Understand customer requirements and advise on material and processing suitability.
- Provide direction and coaching on safe work practices; support safety goals.
- Review unsafe conditions and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Perform other duties as assigned, with responsibilities subject to change.
- College education preferred.
- 1 to 3 years supervisory experience.
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Fluent in Spanish and English, with strong communication skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
