We’re looking for a reliable and knowledgeable IT Specialist who, with a little help acclimating to our systems, can hit the ground running. If you’re a team player with skills and experience that align with the functions below, we’d like to hear from you.
Primary FunctionServes as the primary point of contact for hardware setup, system maintenance, and staff support, ensuring IT operations run smoothly.
Essential Functions- Daily Support – Review and resolve morning emails and help desk requests immediately upon arrival.
- Hardware & Setup – Configure new PCs, maintain phone systems, and troubleshoot peripherals (printers, handheld devices, speakers, etc.).
- Infrastructure – Perform physical cabling tasks (punch down & testing), review maintenance logs, and deploy software patches.
- Vendor & Staff Support – Act as the liaison for software vendors, provide basic computer training to staff, and keep internal documentation up-to-date.
- Support the IT function by performing additional duties, as needed.
- Hands-on experience with PC setup and hardware troubleshooting is required.
- Degree or secondary education in related field is preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication skills for vendor and staff interaction.
- Ability to terminate and test network cabling.
- Must be able to provide everyday on-site coverage, estimated at approximately 20 hours per week.
