6625 Reid EMS Ambulance
Schedule: Night shift. Full Time. Self-scheduling. 6:30PM - 7:00AM. 3x 12hr shifts every other week and 4x 12hr shifts the opposite weeks. Richmond location.
About The Position
The Paramedic provides basic and/or advanced life support, including medical evaluation, treatment and stabilization of the ill and injured in the prehospital setting. Supports existing health services; provides integrated health services in partnership with other health professionals; extends access to health services delivery in the prehospital setting; and performs other duties as required.
Overview Of Responsibilities- Performs all primary job responsibilities listed for Paramedic scope of practice set forth by the Indiana EMS Commission and additional skills approved by the Reid Health EMS Medical Director.
- Must possess critical thinking skills;
- Possesses awareness of health care delivery systems and level of educational preparation of health care providers;
- Assess, treat and coordinate health services for patients in the prehospital setting;
- Administers patient care consistent with department protocols and physician orders;
- Develops and completes appropriate reports for the EMS Program.
- Attends meetings as requested and available.

Licensure & Certification- Minimum certification required:
Paramedic licensure in State of Indiana. BLS, PALS, ACLS certifications - Minimum certification preferred:
Paramedic licensure in State of Ohio. - Minimum licensure required:
Valid Indiana driver's license. - Minimum license preferred:
