BEHAVIORAL HEALTH DIRECTOR CLINICAL - Richmond, IN

Horizon Health Corporation is seeking a Behavioral Health Director Clinical to oversee the inpatient psychiatric units (4‑bed Psych & Substance Abuse Detoxification Unit) in Richmond, IN. The Director will maintain Horizon Health/Client hospital contractual relationships and, in coordination with the client, oversee patient care for the program. Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care delivery, supervising nursing personnel, and collaborating with program, hospital, and Horizon staff.

Key duties include:

• Act as liaison between Program, Hospital, and Horizon.
• Support mission, goals, and objectives of both Hospital and Horizon.
• Provide leadership and direction consistent with Hospital guidelines and nursing/program philosophies.
• Supervise program nursing, counseling, patient support, and administrative staff.
• Develop and update clinical practice policies and procedures in coordination with the VP.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and accrediting regulations.
• Define program philosophy, goals, and objectives under hospital administration, Horizon clinical and operations staff, and the Medical Director.
• Collaborate with divisional and national support staff to maximize value of Horizon services.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams to improve processes involving patients and employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Master’s Degree required
• Active RN license or LCSW in state of IN required
• CPR Certification required
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• Minimum 8 years of experience in healthcare leadership
• Experience in acute care mental health setting required
