Get ready to take your career to new heights! We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Tax Manager to join our Public Accounting firm. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your skills and expertise in both personal and business tax in a rewarding environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing tax duties and ensuring compliance with all state and federal tax laws.

This role requires a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all tax-related activities, including conducting comprehensive tax reviews and audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal and state tax laws.
  • Develop and implement effective business tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize profits.
  • Prepare and file tax returns for the company, ensuring timely submission and adherence to all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Provide expert tax planning advice to help the company make informed financial decisions.
  • Identify potential tax credits and savings opportunities and advise management accordingly.
  • Keep up-to-date with current tax laws and regulations and inform relevant stakeholders of significant changes that may impact the company.
  • Resolve tax-related issues promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff on tax-related matters.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master s degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in tax management or a related role.
  • Extensive knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience in tax planning and business tax strategies.
  • Exceptional skills in tax review and preparing tax returns.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide junior staff.
  • Proficiency in tax software and other relevant computer applications.
