Launch Program OverviewLaunch is an innovative, cohort‑based professional development program designed to help high‑achieving college graduates jump start their careers. The program offers real‑world, challenging, interactive, and action‑based learning curriculum across three 12‑month rotations in different areas of the company.
As a member of our Launch Program Class of 2029, you'll be fully immersed with a global team of R&D wire and cable experts, eager to teach and learn from you along the way. You'll develop a strong understanding of how a global business operates and build functional and leadership skills that will establish a solid foundation for the rest of your career.
This is a full‑time, entry‑level opportunity located in our Richmond, IN facility.
Potential Rotations- Product or Design Engineer – Develop laboratory experience, advance manufacturing knowledge, and experience the product launch process.
- Project and Test Engineer – Learn about compliance, customs/trade, and project management; analyze testing procedures, machine capabilities, and material flow, and experience Lean management.
- Product Management – Research products, markets and competitors; learn about portfolio management; develop advanced product knowledge.
- Passion – We value enthusiasm, initiative, and excitement to take on new challenges and solve tomorrow’s problems.
- Academic Achievement – Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related fields; eligible for full‑time employment starting July 2026.
- Experience – Some prior related experience such as hands‑on laboratory, materials science, or cable design experience, plus technical curiosity.
- Intellectual Curiosity – Analytical, determined, and possessing strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.

We are unable to provide sponsorship for employment visa status for this position, now or in the future.
Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $82,000 – $92,000, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role. This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law and commensurate with the applicant’s experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
