Image & EFT Dispute Processor

Position Summary

The Image & EFT Dispute Processor is responsible for operating document and check imaging equipment and software to create and maintain electronic records for processing and archival purposes. This role also serves as a backup to the Dispute Processor, assisting in the investigation and resolution of debit card disputes and performing related settlement functions.

Hours

Mon-Thurs: 9am-6pm

Friday: 9:45am-6:45pm

Competencies & Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Basic understanding of Core Processing system preferred.

* Working Microsoft application knowledge and computer operations experience

* Ability to multi-task

* Excellent data-entry skill

* Excellent attention to detail

* Good organizational and time management skills

* General understanding of record retention

* Awareness of banking laws and regulations

Essential Responsibilities

* Balance checks and teller documents

* Transmit posting files to the Core processor

* Assist with physical document retention, storage and destruction

* Process Canadian checks

* Process Lockbox

* Verify quality of digital images

* Other administrative duties as assigned

* Act as backup for Dispute Processor

* Manage and process all debit card disputes, including branch entry and digital banking disputes

* Conduct thorough research on each dispute and communicate with appropriate staff or departments as needed

* Submit applicable disputes to the card processor for investigation

* Monitor ongoing disputes and take appropriate actions to ensure timely resolution

* Post daily settlement entries to the appropriate general ledger accounts

* Perform other dispute related duties as assigned
