Truck Driver Non CDL

We are immediately hiring a dedicated SOLO Non CDL Driver in Richmond, CA. Join Ryder Supply Chain Solutions as a Truck Driver Non CDL Local Home Daily and be part of our growing logistics team.

• Weekly pay: $1195 - $1399 or more (varies by performance)
• Hourly rate: $27.18 per hour
• Hours per week: 40 + hours per week
• Paid training
• Schedule:
  
  Tuesday – Friday (some Saturdays mandatory)
• Start time: 5:00 AM
• Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 roadside maintenance, and company drivers fuel at over 800 facilities nationwide.

• Delivery locations:
  Gilroy, Bay Area, Redding, Lake Tahoe
• Route:
  Local Home Daily
• Tractor type: 6 months straight truck experience required
• Trailers:
  Reefer, 16', 24', 26'
• Equipment needed:
  Manual pallet jack, hand truck, lift gate
• Ryder will train on all equipment
• Freight:
  Very heavy touch – beverages; preference for beverage distribution experience

• Safely drive a vehicle within local home daily routes, complying with safety regulations
• Follow written and/or oral instructions and maintain accurate logs
• Provide customer service and ensure compliance with federal/state rules
• Detect and eliminate safety hazards
• Assist loading/unloading of freight when required by customers
• Other tasks as assigned

• Minimum age 21 years
• Minimum of 6 months verifiable driving experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Background, motor vehicle check, drug test, DOT physical, and Ryder road test clearance
• Verifiable driving experience on straight truck or box truck:
  • 6 months in the past 3 years
  • 2 years in the last 5 years
  • 5 years in the last 10 years
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
