Overview of therole

As Sample Warehouse Coordinators, we support corporate and photo studio teams across eight Williams Sonoma brands including:
Williams Sonoma and Pottery Barn. We receive brand new samples directly from vendors, and store the samples in the warehouse, making sure teams can access what they need to create the right visuals for online and marketing use.

Our warehouse handles everything from small items like napkins and candles to large pieces like kitchen islands and fireplaces. We operate like a library—samples come in, get checked out, returned, and eventually retired. It's a continuous cycle that keeps creative and operational teams moving.

Responsibilities

· Perform warehouse functions including but not limited to receiving, stocking, picking, cataloging, and returns processing

· Operation of power material handling equipment such as but not limited to 30 ft high stock picker, forklift, and stand along walkie.

· Direct communication with photo teams and buying groups

· Operation of iPad to scan inventory

· General labor including but not limited to: recycling, wrapping and preparing furniture for transport or long-term storage, building furniture samples, delivery and picking up samples within the building

Criteria

· High School diploma/ GED or equivalent preferred

· Basic math skills

· Ability to lift 50 lbs

· Working knowledge of basic PC use including email and Microsoft Word

· Excellent work ethic and a positive attitude

· Ability to perform work onsite in the Richmond office.

· Willingness to get trained and operate heavy machinery and equipment with proper training

The expected starting pay range for this position is $23/hr applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
