All about On-Demand:
You can work as much or as little as you like as an On‑Demand Team Member (TM). Schedule varies based on shift availability and store needs. You will create your schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or team members via the myTime mobile scheduling app. If you pick up a shift, reliable attendance is required. Active engagement by picking up and working shifts is expected (minimum four hours every four weeks).

If you do not respond to attempts to contact you or do not work at least one shift within five months, employment may be terminated. You will attend a Target Welcome orientation and commit to a short-term training schedule prior to starting. Afterward, use the myTime app to select shifts.

All about Service & Engagement:
Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on interaction, loyalty enrollment, and store cleanliness. Knowledge of in-store and digital services that drive adoption and guest loyalty. Deliver fast and friendly service at checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up, and drive-up while maintaining quality.

Typical day includes a focus on guest service standards, welcoming guests, assisting with needs, knowing tools, products, and services to resolve issues, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment. You will also support order pick up, drive-up, and registry guests, handle cash operations as needed, and comply with safety policies and procedures.

• Demonstrate a service culture by delivering the service standard and creating a welcoming guest experience
• Engage with guests to assist with needs and solve specific issues
• Be knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services to resolve guest concerns
• Scan and bag items efficiently and accurately, complying with safety standards
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy
• Inform guests about current brand launches and store events
• Explain and assist with Target Loyalty programs and fulfillment services
• Educate guests on Wallet and Target App features
• Handle returns according to policies, escalating to leaders when needed
• De-escalate situations and recover the guest shopping experience per policy
• Provide accurate service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies during store hours
• Uphold safety, ethics, and compliance standards
• Support cash office processes as needed
• Perform other duties based on business needs
