Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Critical Need ICU position in California requiring a CA RN license and recent ICU experience.
Responsibilities- Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in a hospital setting
- Assignment is 13 weeks in duration
- Schedule consists of 12-hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM
- 36 hours per week are expected
- EPIC is used as the electronic medical record system
- Local and travel candidates are accepted at the same pay rate
- Must provide last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth for consideration
- Internal rules limit assignment duration to a maximum of two years with a 90-day break required thereafter
- Position may require the ability to care for complex critical care patients
- Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Minimum of 1 year recent full-time ICU experience within the last 3 years
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Preferred: BSN or related bachelor's degree, 2 years recent ICU experience, NIH Stroke Scale Certificate, and CCRN certification
- Experience with dialysis, SLED or equivalent preferred
