Production Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Production Manager in Richmond, CA. This position is full-time, direct hire, onsite, $110K - $150K.

The Production Manager plays a hands-on leadership role in overseeing all aspects of daily production operations. This role involves driving departmental growth, ensuring financial

Responsibilities:

  • Direct and coordinate all production activities to ensure high-quality, on-time, and cost-efficient output.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop production staff, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor production processes to drive efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize rework.
  • Ensure all products meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant working environment.
  • Manage department budgets, track KPIs, and control labor and material costs.
  • Collaborate with purchasing, inventory, and logistics teams for material availability and scheduling.
  • Participate in strategic planning and provide input on capacity, investments, and workforce planning.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a production and warehouse environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • OSHA General Industry 10 or 30 certification required.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Financial and operational acumen with experience in budget and cost control.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in production scheduling, labor planning, and workflow optimization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP or production management systems.
