Overview
Concentra, one of the largest health care companies in the nation, is seeking a Physiatrist / Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist for an on‑site, 1099 independent contractor position. The role complements your existing practice with a typical partnership of approximately a 4‑hour shift weekly or biweekly.
Concentra Advanced Specialists manage medically complex patients, accelerate return to work and restore function. Working collaboratively with medical and therapy providers, you will provide specialist services—may include EMGs and NCS—for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work‑related injuries. You will also communicate with employers and actively participate in case management, making a tremendous difference in the lives of those who seek our care.
LocationUS-CA-Richmond
Responsibilities- Half a day per week or biweekly
- Flexible scheduling considering your private practice
This position is an independent contractor role for Concentra. Compensation for services is determined by a revenue share model.
Qualifications- Preferred experience in treating patients with work‑related injuries
- Licensure requirements of the state of practice
- Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program of an accredited university
- Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- Must have Medical Malpractice Insurance which will cover you while on site
