Responsible leading a group of adjusters and administrative support staff.

• Drive adjuster hiring and development which results in a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
• Lead a claims team that delivers high quality and efficient service
• Guide, mentor, and develop a team of direct reports through the development of team goals and workload balancing protocols, while encouraging and delivering strong performance
• Continuously find ways to improve teams’ efficiency and quality utilizing company’s technology
• Communicate with clients, carriers, and brokers in a professional and proactive manner
• Effectively lead multiple priorities, recognize coaching opportunities, and position team members for success

High school diploma or Bachelor’s Degree preferred. 7 years related claim experience required.

CIP or partial completion

Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all provinces in which claims are being handled or able to obtain the licenses/certification per local requirements.

Knowledge of all team member related functions. Requires exceptional analytical and problem solving skills. Ensures flawless and consistent execution of client service instructions and performance guarantees.

Ability to actively review work of others via file reviews; identify coaching opportunities, act on needed coaching opportunities and position subordinates for successful development leading to advancement within the organization.
