The Manager, Promo planning ensure the accuracy and consistency of all promotional offers and product details across customer-facing channels, including flyers, eCommerce, in-store, and digital platforms. The role provides oversight on offer setup, validation, and readiness — ensuring that promotional campaigns are executed flawlessly and reflect correct pricing, item information, SKU accuracy and legal compliance. Acting as the bridge between Merchandising, Creative, Channel, Legal, and Flyer Production teams, the Manager drives cross-functional alignment, oversees promo timelines, approval checkpoints, and ensures all promotional content is validated, approved, and deployed on time.

Specifically, you will:

  • Own end-to-end promotional execution across all channels:
    Ensure flawless, on-time execution across flyer, eCommerce, in-store, and digital.
  • Serve as the central cross-functional execution lead:
    Align Merchandising, Pricing, Marketing, Creative, Legal, and Operations to deliver promotion readiness.
  • Ensure promotional accuracy and compliance:
    Validate pricing, SKUs, content, imagery, and legal requirements across all customer touchpoints.
  • Oversee promo setup and governance:
    Manage offer setup, approvals, and readiness checkpoints in promo management tools.
  • Assess promo performance and effectiveness :
    Analyze sales lift, margin, and offer effectiveness to drive optimization.
  • Continuously improve promo execution processes:
    Streamline workflows and controls to reduce errors and improve execution quality.

Some of what you need:

  • Post secondary degree/diploma with a focus in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong cross-functional coordination skills and attention to detail
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in campaign or workflow management tools (e.g. Workfront, Asana, Wrike) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency in Excel, content management tools, and proofing systems
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, promotional planning, or retail execution
  • 3+ years of experience in people leadership
  • Experience managing teams and workflows under tight deadlines
  • Solid understanding of retail promotions, merchandising processes, and campaign execution
  • Experience working with promotional planning tools
  • Experience with CPG industry is a plus.
