About

The Role

As a PXW QA Specialist, you are responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance and overall quality of the PXW Platform through manual testing. You’ll collaborate closely with the Product Team, Engineers and other key stakeholders to release robust, secure and innovative products.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Work hand in hand with product and development teams to understand new features and how best to approach testing.
  • Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases across multiple environments and client configurations.
  • Perform exploratory, regression, smoke, and acceptance testing across web and mobile platforms.
  • Validate environment‑specific settings and client customization to ensure consistent quality.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira), and collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
  • Participate in team rituals such as sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives to ensure quality is embedded in our culture at PXW.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of QA documentation and best practices.
  • Continuously evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve testing efficiency.

Qualifications
  • University degree or diploma in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on manual QA.
  • Strong understanding of QA processes, test case design, and defect management.
  • Hands‑on experience with test case management tools such as Xray or similar.
  • Experience with multi‑tenant systems.
  • Knowledge of the Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle, methodologies, best practices, and testing.
  • Has a basic understanding of, or previous experience with regulatory compliance.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
Nice To Have
  • Knowledge of Azure.
  • Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, Postman).
  • Expertise in building an automation test framework.
  • Experience with automation using Selenium web driver, JUnit/TestNG framework with POM or similar.
  • Experience with API automation using Rest‑Assured, Postman or similar.
  • Hands‑on experience with performing non‑functional tests such as Load, Stress, and Performance.
  • Work with the Technical Department to put the test automation suite in the workflow of our Azure Dev Ops CI / CD.
Tech Stack

SQL, .NET, C#, jQuery, JavaScript, React, HTML, Xray, Selenium/Playwright, TestNG/Junit, Postman (basic), Jira & Confluence.
