IT Project Manager, IT Consultant
About the Company
Our client is a large private international manufacturer, seeking to hire a VP of IT for a full time onsite position (5 days a week onsite) in Markham, ON.
About the OpportunityThis role will be responsible for the following areas across the enterprise:
- COTS (SAP ERP – halfway through ECC to S4/Hana worldwide upgrade), Salesforce, Workday, etc.
- Custom application development (Microsoft stack, .NET, AI, Azure, Power Platform, BI, etc.)
- IT Governance/risk
- IT Infrastructure and Operations
- Enterprise Architecture
- PMO
- 50% strategic and 50% tactical focus – strategy, new application acquisition, automation, AI (humanoids in factories, computer vision for manufacturing quality verification, copilot/SAP AI/fabric AI for back office, etc.)
- Report to CIO and potential successor
- Manufacturing or supply chain industry experience is a must
- Proven progressive strategic Technology leadership positions in overall IT (including budgeting, risk management, KPI-driven management, vendor management/selection, etc.)
- Completed STEM Degree (required)
- Experience managing enterprise-level large SAP environments (Oracle ERP acceptable as well)
- Experience managing Data/BI enterprise-grade environments (including data governance)
- Experience managing IT infrastructure for multi-location companies
- Experience working in large multi-national orgs with large, distributed teams (50+ people)
- Manufacturing or Distribution / Supply Chain industry experience
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to commute to Markham HQ 5 days/week
- Ability to travel to US/Europe (maybe 1-2 times a year)

$200,000 – $230,000 plus annual bonus.
