Position: Financial Services Associate - Full Time

What you’ll do
  • Member

    Experience:

    Understand Meridian’s products and services to add value; provide investment and credit recommendations; engage in revenue-generating activities; use tools to deepen relationships; embrace virtual platforms; maintain discretion and confidentiality.
  • Employee

    Experience:

    Build internal relationships, promote inclusivity, pursue learning, support leadership planning, and step in as a leader in the Branch Manager’s absence.
  • Community

    Experience:

    Promote Meridian in the community, support local organizations and events.
What you can bring to Meridian
  • Recent university graduates with a 4-year degree in Business or Economics.
  • Strong knowledge of business and financial services with a desire for career growth within the financial services industry.
  • MFDA licensing is required for most roles.
  • Flexible to work all scheduled hours including some evenings and Saturdays.
  • Proven understanding of computer systems and programs including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Strong negotiation, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, including coaching and leadership abilities.
  • Effective organizational time management and problem-solving skills.
Salary and Benefits

Salary Range: CAD $52,000 – $78,000 annually. Compensation for this role is based on a combination of skills, experience, and internal equity. Candidates with stronger alignment to the role’s requirements may be placed higher within the range. Your recruiter will share more information about our total rewards package during the hiring process.
