Reporting to the Senior Manager of Commissioning & Project Analytics, this role focuses on tracking, analyzing and reporting on construction project progress and performance. Responsibilities include coordinating information related to scheduling, electrical, mechanical, IT and communications requirements as projects advance. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as strong analytical abilities and attention to detail to identify project constraints and maintain accurate reporting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Review project-specific documentation, including drawings and specifications.
- Assist in the creation of project-specific documentation using existing templates.
- Coordinate project documentation to support departmental programs as required.
- Review contract requirements to ensure accuracy and alignment with project scope.
- Assess site progress through site walks with Site Superintendents and Project Managers.
- Conduct site walks with the Project Scheduler to evaluate construction progress from a scheduling perspective (electrical and mechanical).
- Obtain site data including schedule updates, construction progress photos, and site notes from the project team.
- Review project schedules as required.
- Analyze activities and relationships based on schedules provided by the General Contractor.
- Compare baseline schedules against updated schedules to identify variances in key milestones for reporting.
- Conduct schedule variance and impact analyses.
- Analyze and identify critical and near-critical path activities, including resource loading and tracking for reporting purposes.
- Identify constraints affecting specific scheduling activities.
- Create, contribute to, and update progress and productivity reports for key projects.
- Provide technical and administrative support with a focus on project progress reporting, QA/QC, and commissioning program monitoring and scheduling.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager and/or Estimator to determine required manpower, labor hours, and activity durations.
- Attend management, project team, and client meetings as required, and provide project monitoring and progress updates.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge- Bachelor of Engineering, Engineering Degree and/or Masters // Registered with the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologist Or Successfully completed post graduate construction management program or 5 + years of experience in construction
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft office applications. This would include but is not limited to excel, word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project
- Oracle
- CET Certification or in progress
- Project scheduling using MS Project and/or Primavera P6
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Experience in client relations, documentation management and quality assurance processes
- Excellent professional communication skills with full fluency in English
- Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to guide and motivate teams
- 25-30 % travel is required for this position.
