Warehouse Worker - Evening Shift at Bunzl Canada
Hourly Rate: $22.00
Responsibilities- Pick customer orders indicated on pick tickets. Wrap pallets and load trucks for in-town deliveries.
- Wrap and label pallets for out-of-town deliveries and pick‑ups.
- Conduct bin walk, checking empty bins.
- Maintain assigned row in a neat and orderly manner – sweep floor; align pallet in slots; level load slots.
- Utilize an industrial forklift.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist other warehouse workers in completing tasks as requested by the Warehouse Manager or immediate supervisor.
- Minimum of 6 months of previous experience in warehouse/forklift operation is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must own a personal vehicle for the commute as public transit is not reliable due to warehouse location and shift hours.
- Must be available Monday to Friday. Must be ready to start at 4 pm and willing to stay until the work is completed each night.
- Overtime is required based on business demands, sometimes on short notice.
- Must be dependable and a team player.
- Must be able to lift in excess of 25 kgs and frequent lifting on average of 10 to 15 kgs.
- Must be able to work regularly at a height of up to 21 feet above the ground (with provided safety equipment/processes/training).
- Strong attention to detail.
