Ray-Mont Logistics is currently seeking a permanent full time, Commercial Truck Mechanic to join its vibrant team. You’ll collaborate closely with operations teams, provide clear maintenance feedback, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Successful candidates will reflect Ray-Mont’s core values:

• 12-hour Day Shift, From 6:00AM to 6:00PM,
• Employees work 4 days on and 4 days off, it may vary according to company needs.

• Mechanical Repair:
  Execute comprehensive repairs and preventative maintenance on trucks and chassis to ensure fleet uptime.
• Compliance & Safety:
  Perform formal Commercial Vehicle Inspections (CVI) to meet regulatory safety standards.
• Communication:
  Act as a bridge between the shop and stakeholders. This includes:
  • Coordinating parts and service with suppliers.
  • Providing status updates and professional service to customers.
  • Relaying technical issues or timelines to truck drivers.
• Digital Documentation:
  Maintain accurate records by inputting repair data, parts usage, and labor hours into the maintenance management software.

• Proven experience working as a commercial truck mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of semi-truck and trailer systems.
• Diagnostic Mastery:
  Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes in complex mechanical and electrical systems.
• Technical Versatility: A "jack-of-all-trades" approach; comfortable switching between different types of equipment and varying repair scopes.
• Welding & Fabrication:
  Proficiency in welding to handle structural repairs on chassis or custom modifications.
• Communication, being able to communicate information with truck drivers and suppliers in a clear concise manner.
• Physically capable of lifting, bending, and working in outdoor environments
• Commercial vehicle inspector ticket
• A valid driver's license is required

As a Commercial Truck Mechanic, you play a critical role in keeping our fleet of trucks and equipment running efficiently to support the flow of international logistics operations. This is a hands-on, outdoor role. You’ll work in dynamic industrial environments and must be comfortable working outside in varying weather conditions.
