As a CBRE Maintenance Technician , you’ll perform preventive maintenance and corrective repair to various structures throughout a designated commercial facility.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs of equipment and systems.

• Escalate unusual events/occurrences to supervisor
• Erect safety barricades
• Maintain signage
• Complete general maintenance of door/window closures, door handles/ hinges and other like devices
• Re-lamp
• Perform light duties: sweeping, general cleaning, painting/patching, garbage removal, snow removal, etc.
• Complete basic preventive/demand maintenance tasks; input histories if required
• Respond to basic tenant requests and emergencies
• Monitor work of contractors/external service providers to ensure adherence to company/industry standards
• Participate in review of basic operating policies/procedures as required
• Inspect/repair: interior/exterior elements (i.e., staircases) for rust/deterioration; basements to ensure no water seepage
• Remove/repaint over graffiti
• Maintain/repair concrete precast/cement
• Inspect roof for debris; report damage
• Perform minor repairs on building envelope
• Repair drywall (floor and wall)
• Light maintenance of mechanical/electrical equipment
• Respond to environmental/comfort complaintsif required
• Complete filter changes
• Assistwithmaintenance of metal/plastic pipe systems
• Assist other classifications/trades as required
• Works in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act and all other applicable codes
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2-4 years of p revious experience as a General Maintainer/Maintenance Assistant .
• Previous experience in carpentry, electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• You should have excellent customer service skills in ensuring client requests are responded to professionally.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (oral and written .
• Ability to work as part of a team.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The salary range for this role is between $55,000 - $65,000 annually.
