Bunzl is excited to hire a sales professional for the Richmond and surrounding region, focusing on the Cleaning & Hygiene channel in Janitorial and sanitation areas. This full‑time position offers exceptional benefits and an opportunity to become a key part of our rapidly growing company. Preference will be given to a candidate who has successful account‑sales experience.
The sales territory is the Kelowna and Central Okanagan.
This role is perfect for a customer‑service driven individual who knows how to manage both simple and complex sales.
CompensationOTE: $100,000 per year.
Responsibilities- Identifying, qualifying, and selling new customers.
- Introducing and selling product innovation to current customers.
- Introducing and selling product categories to current customers who purchase elsewhere.
- Replacing competitive products of non‑preferred vendors with preferred vendor products.
- Upselling current customers to new or replacement products available.
- Introducing and implementing new services that help improve our customers’ business, e.g., moving them from phone orders to e‑commerce.
This position is supported with a comprehensive onboarding, training, and mentoring program designed to help you make an immediate impact on growing your sales and gross margins.
Requirements- Experience of successful account sales, customer base/territory management.
- Understanding of what it means to be a team player.
- A valid driver’s license and personal transportation.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong aptitude for organizing one’s workday.
- Travel required, including 1–2 nights monthly.
