Join to apply for the Assistant Buyer role at T & T Supermarket.
Reporting to the Category Manager, the Assistant Buyer is responsible for providing assistance and support to the Buying team of the assigned category by coordinating with internal departments and external suppliers, analyzing performance data, and managing project timelines, marketing POPs, and other related matters.
T&T Supermarket Inc., founded in 1993 with two stores in BC, has expanded to become Canada’s largest Asian supermarket chain with 36 stores across the country, including BC, Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec. The company plans further expansion in the coming years.
Responsibilities- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or related fields.
- Knowledge and passion for Asian Grocery products are preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication across all organization levels.
- Proficiency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple assignments.
- Experience with overseas suppliers is an asset.
- Advanced MS Excel skills; proficient in MS Word and Outlook.

- 5-day work week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm.
