2)

Salary:

• $20.00 to $21.38/hour (salary increase based on annual performance review per company policy)

• $0.50/hour premium for night shifts

• Bonus per company policy

Terms and Conditions of Employment:

• Permanent, Full-Time (40h/week)

• Shifts:

  • Day: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. or 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

  • Afternoon: 11:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.

  • Night: 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.

• Weekends, overtime, and holidays may be required

Work Setting: Fruit and vegetable manufacturing and processing plant

Work Site Environment: Cold/refrigerated, Wet/damp

Job requirements:

• Languages: Basic English
• Experience: Some experience in food processing required (1 - 7 months); equipment training provided
• Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
• Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Handling heavy loads (up to 23kg/50lbs), Physically demanding, Standing for extended periods, Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail
• Personal Suitability: Team player, Flexibility, Dependability

Duties:

• Vertical form fill setup and operation

• Food processing of salads

• Packing of finished goods into boxes

• Coordinating order completion

• Line change over

• Managing line traceability forms

• Cleaning of equipment between product runs

• Use of pallet jacks to remove finished goods from the line

• Quality inspections of the processed salads

• May operate forklift (approximately 10% of work hours, training provided).
