As a mission-led company, we’re passionate about leaving the earth better than we found it — through the foods we create and the way we work together. We’re looking for a Commercial Operations Manager who’s ready to drive innovation that nourishes people and the planet. In this role, you’ll be the connector across Sales, Brand, R&D, Finance, and Operations — bringing great ideas to life and guiding them from concept to shelf.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Lead with purpose:
Manage the end-to-end project process for new Nature’s Path products — from ideation approval to launch — ensuring alignment with brand strategy, sustainability goals, and our food safety and quality standards - Drive innovation:
Oversee national launches, customer-specific initiatives, and other product development projects that support our growth and purpose - Collaborate cross-functionally:
Partner closely with Sales, Brand, R&D, Finance, and Operations to ensure project readiness and seamless execution - Champion transparency:
Communicate opportunities, risks, and progress clearly to all stakeholders, fostering proactive problem-solving and cross-functional alignment - Manage with insight:
Lead cross-functional reviews to identify risks and opportunities, implementing smart mitigation strategies where needed - Build for the future:
Own key stages of the Innovation Cycle post-ideation, ensuring the business has the tools, knowledge, and capabilities to deliver a robust pipeline - Inspire better ways of working:
Champion continuous improvement and explore new approaches to product and process innovation - Partner for success:
Work with Food Scientists and Brand teams to meet timelines and deliver successful innovation launches. Collaborate with Operations to assess technical feasibility of new concepts. Partner with Finance to review and validate P&L models for innovation builds
- 3–5 years of CPG experience in Innovation Project Management Bachelor’s degree in business, Commerce, or a related field
- PMP certification
- Proven leadership and project management skills with the ability to guide cross-functional teams
- Experience managing new product development from ideation through launch
- A collaborative spirit and a genuine passion for sustainability, food innovation, and making a positive impact
- This role will offer a base salary between $75,000 - $95,000 with a 10% bonus
- Hybrid opportunity located in Richmond, BC
