Our client is a growing distribution company seeking a talented General Manager for an ON‑SITE role at their Richmond facility. This role involves overseeing sales, warehouse, fleet operations, and staff management.
Responsibilities
Strong experience in wholesale food or beverage distribution operations.
Experience managing sales teams.
Manage staff across sales, warehouse, fleet operations, and administration.
Review market analysis to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, discount rates, and promotional sales programs.
Split time between office operations (warehouse fulfillment, fleet/driver management) and field work with the sales team.
Involved in selecting, training, scheduling, and coaching employees.
Compensation
Base salary: $120,000 – $130,000 per year.
Annual bonus, car allowance, benefits, PTO and 401(k) with match.
Qualifications
Experience in wholesale food or beverage distribution operations.
Experience managing sales and staff.
Strong analytical and leadership skills.
