Position Overview

Flexcarisseekinga highly skilled Automotive Master Technician to perform advanced diagnostics and repairs while supporting shop workflow and mentoring technicians.

This is anon-exempt position and is eligible for overtime compensation in accordance with California law, including:

• Daily overtime for hours worked over 8 in a workday

• Double time for hours worked over 12 in a workday

• Overtime premiums for qualifying seventh consecutive workdays

Essential Functions

• Diagnose and repair advanced vehicle systems (electrical, drivability, HVAC, engine, drivetrain, braking systems)

• Perform complex troubleshooting and technical analysis

• Accurately document repair orders andmaintainservice records

• Train, mentor, and support development of junior technicians

• Assist with workflow prioritization and shop efficiency

• Maintain compliance with Cal/OSHA safety standards

• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

• Collaborate with site leadership on scheduling and inventory planning

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on automotive repair experience

• ASE Master Technician Certification (L1 preferred) or equivalent demonstrated experience

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

• Ability to use diagnostic platforms and shop management systems

• Ability to use basic Microsoft Excel functions

• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs

Physical Requirements

This role requires:

• Lifting and moving up to 75 pounds

• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and working under vehicles

• Working in indoor and outdoor environments with varying temperatures and weather conditions

• Safe operation of automotive tools and shop equipment

Compensation Transparency (California)

The hourly pay range for this position in California is $45.00 – $77.00 per hour.

The range reflects the reasonably expected pay range for this role within California. Actual compensation will bedeterminedbased on:

• Relevant experience

• Certifications

• Skills and competencies

• Geographic location

• Internal equity considerations

This position is paid on an hourly basis and is eligible for overtime in accordance with California wage and hour laws.

Sign-On Bonus

The $5,000 sign-on bonus is subject to applicable payroll tax with holdings and will be paid after
