Tera is developing advanced noise cancellation, communication, and hearing protection systems.
We are looking for a talented electrical and computer engineer that can help us develop and debug new products.
Prospective applicants should have a solid background in electronic circuit theory and hands-on skills with oscilloscopes, function generators, and other lab tools.
Key skills we are looking for include soldering skills and the ability to debug common hardware issues. This can range from re-soldering a broken switch and designing improvements for future releases to identifying faulty ICs in malfunctioning hardware. Applicants should be very familiar with the soldering skills needed for SMD components.
Familiarity with Altium PCB design software is also essential. Applicants should know how to start from a schematic, sync the project to PCB, and create a DRC-free PCB board. Concepts such as library, library components, and error-free project compilation should not be foreign to applicants for this position.
Job Requirements andQualifications:
- Experience working with hardware and electronics
- Familiarity with PCB design and Altium Designer
- Experience with soldering and working with oscilloscopes
- Background knowledge of firmware programming
- Teamwork and excellent work ethic
- Ability to work on-site (in our office)
