River Rock Casino Resort is looking for self-motivated individuals who are able to perform physically demanding tasks of a hotel Room Attendant in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for team members eager to be a part of the Rock-Solid team and take pride in their work of maintaining the cleanliness of assigned guest’s rooms and public areas of the Resort.
The Successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Making beds, changing linen, vacuuming and cleaning as per policies and procedureProviding the rooms with fresh towels and toiletriesRestocking inventories as requiredAnswering guests’ questionsChecking that TVs, radios, lights and AC/Heating are in proper working orderDusting and polishing furnitureScrubbing floors, walls and windows as requiredEmptying and cleaning waste paper baskets and ashtraysRemoving linens and garbage to appropriate binsShampooing carpets as directed and requiredReporting damages to Team Leader or ManagerLiaising and communicating effectively with all appropriate operational departmentsEnsuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulationsPerforming other duties as assigned or directedThe Successful candidates will demonstrate the following qualifications:
Available to work up to 40 hours per week in a variety of shifts including early morning and weekends as we operate 24 hour per day, seven days a weekHigh School DiplomaAbility to stand for long periods of timeAbility to lift 50 poundsPrevious housekeeping experience an assetEnergetic, highly motivatedHighly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentAbility to successfully obtain a Criminal Record CheckAbility to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communicationA commitment to continually increase your knowledge of our products and services in order to offer exceptional experiences to our guestsA willingness to learn, develop and achieve new skills for personal and professional developmentLive GCE’s Values on the job:
