Apply for the Area Sales Manager role  are building a relationship‑oriented bank for the modern world. This position focuses on delivering top‑tier customer satisfaction and driving revenue growth through a high‑performing mortgage sales team.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be part of CIBC’s Personal and Business Banking team, working with Mortgage Advisors to generate sales strategies and activities that meet and exceed short‑ and long‑term sales targets, financial and strategic objectives, and revenue and profit growth.

You will deliver top‑tier customer satisfaction and ensure the recruitment, development & retention of a group of top‑performing commissioned sales professionals. Work can be performed remotely; on‑site visits are occasional and discussed at interview.

How You’ll Succeed
  • Coaching – Assist your team to achieve all mortgage sales performance objectives, service level metrics, financial results and other performance data. Ensure objectives are communicated with clarity and provide necessary information to understand trends, issues and opportunities within the business.
  • Relationship Management – Establish reciprocal business relationships with real‑estate firms, and other reputable business sources, for the purpose of identifying suitable customer prospects for residential mortgage financing. Responsible for acquiring and managing referral partnerships.
  • Recruitment – Attract, align, motivate and retain a team of mortgage professionals. Develop competencies to meet present and future sales objectives for a remote‑based national sales force.
Who You Are
  • You can demonstrate experience in leading a sales force within a financial services organization. Experience leading a mortgage sales team is preferred. Experience leading a remote team is an asset. Mandarin/Cantonese speaking skills are preferred.
