Job Description

River Rock Casino Resort is looking for self‑motivated individuals who are able to perform physically demanding tasks of a hotel. The role is a Room Attendant in a fast‑paced environment, where you will take pride in maintaining the cleanliness of assigned guest rooms and public areas of the Resort.

Responsibilities
  • Make beds, change linen, vacuum, and clean as per policies and procedures.
  • Provide rooms with fresh towels and toiletries.
  • Restock inventories as required.
  • Answer guests’ questions.
  • Check that TVs, radios, lights, and AC/heating are in proper working order.
  • Dust and polish furniture.
  • Scrub floors, walls, and windows as required.
  • Empty and clean waste paper baskets and ashtrays.
  • Remove linens and garbage to appropriate bins.
  • Shampoo carpets as directed and required.
  • Report damages to Team Leader or Manager.
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with all appropriate operational departments.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed.
Qualifications
  • Available to work up to 40 hours per week in a variety of shifts, including early morning and weekends, as we operate 24 hours per day, seven days a week.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Previous housekeeping experience is an asset.
  • Energetic, highly motivated.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Criminal Record Check.
  • Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective, and service‑oriented communication.
  • A commitment to continually increase your knowledge of our products and services to offer exceptional experiences to our guests.
  • A willingness to learn, develop, and achieve new skills for personal and professional development.
