Job Description
River Rock Casino Resort is looking for self‑motivated individuals who are able to perform physically demanding tasks of a hotel. The role is a Room Attendant in a fast‑paced environment, where you will take pride in maintaining the cleanliness of assigned guest rooms and public areas of the Resort.
Responsibilities- Make beds, change linen, vacuum, and clean as per policies and procedures.
- Provide rooms with fresh towels and toiletries.
- Restock inventories as required.
- Answer guests’ questions.
- Check that TVs, radios, lights, and AC/heating are in proper working order.
- Dust and polish furniture.
- Scrub floors, walls, and windows as required.
- Empty and clean waste paper baskets and ashtrays.
- Remove linens and garbage to appropriate bins.
- Shampoo carpets as directed and required.
- Report damages to Team Leader or Manager.
- Liaise and communicate effectively with all appropriate operational departments.
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned or directed.
- Available to work up to 40 hours per week in a variety of shifts, including early morning and weekends, as we operate 24 hours per day, seven days a week.
- High School Diploma.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Previous housekeeping experience is an asset.
- Energetic, highly motivated.
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to successfully obtain a Criminal Record Check.
- Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective, and service‑oriented communication.
