Are you a people-person that enjoys meeting new people? Are you up-beat, positive, and outgoing? Do you have a knack for providing exceptional customer service? River Rock Casino Resort is currently looking for Incoming Professional Card Dealers. Under the direct supervision of the Manager, Table Games, this position is responsible for providing dealing services to our guests. Card Dealers must ensure adherence to all policies and procedures while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all employees.
Other responsibilities include:
Providing exceptional guest service while conducting all games in a precise, efficient and secure mannerMaintaining game integrity and adhering to policies and procedures, licensing laws and statutory regulationsExchanging customer cash and promotional vouchers for equivalent value chipsControlling the order of play; closing bets at the appropriate time; maintaining table securitySuccessful candidates will demonstrate the following qualifications:
High school diploma required, post secondary education an assetStrong communication and mathematical skillsAdhere to the high standards, methods and procedures of gaming at Great Canadian CasinosProven guest service skillsStrong ability to follow policies, procedures and practicesManual dexterity and able to stand for long periods of timeHave access to reliable transportationAbility to be adaptable and flexible with work scheduleAbility to successfully obtain a Serving It Right LicenseAbility to successfully obtain a criminal record and credit check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB)Work Environment Considerations
Regular casino environment, standing for long periods of time and dealing cards for long periods of timeThere will be a mandatory training program for 10 days from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM on March 2nd to 5th, March 9th to 10th, and March 16th to 19th, 2026 at River Rock Casino Resort. If selected for the job, 100% attendance would be required for the training program.
