Role Impact

To provide outstanding customer service to valued shoppers, community retailers and business partners. The successful candidate must have availability and flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of the business and may be required to stand for extended periods of time.

What you will deliver
  • Deliver Guest Services programs daily to shoppers, which include gift card sales, strollers/wheelchairs/walkers program, retail and community information, as well as promotion of mall events.
  • Handle and direct all incoming calls, radio communications, and visitor inquiries by answering questions or forwarding them to the appropriate department. Provide prompt responses and maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Generate diverse reports by retrieving relevant information to keep the Guest Services Supervisor informed of current statuses.
  • Build and nurture relationships with the community and shopping centre retailers to stay well-informed about community activities, mall trends, events, and programs.
  • Serve as the first point of contact between the shopping centre and all other departments, and maintain ongoing communication at the administrative level.
  • Oversee gift card sales at Guest Services, including managing related files by reviewing system data such as the daily sales journal, reconciling daily sales reports, and monitoring inventory levels to boost revenue and ensure accurate transaction records for accounting and forecasting.
  • Keep the Guest Services database updated with current customer information. Record details about special events, promotions, changes, and visitor concerns in a log.
  • Proactively connect with customers regularly to share relevant information, enhancing the shopping center's positive image and encouraging repeat visits.
  • Support the Marketing Department in implementing marketing programs as needed.
  • Roam throughout the shopping centre and specific hotspots to ensure the shopping experience stratification.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Previous experience in the hospitality field preferred.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and walk the Centre while interacting with guests.
  • Ability to assess, take initiative and fulfill customer and tenant expectations.

Starting base pay for this job level may range from $17.85 to $20.76. The actual base pay offered will consider several factors including, but not limited to the role, experiences, skills & qualifications, location, market and internal considerations; with this context, CF reserves the right to pay above this range.
