SUMMARY
:
This role is a vital part of the team on our job sites. The position performs various duties in the completion of our building projects. Successful candidates will be energetic, dependable, and take pride in producing quality results with a great attitude towards collaboration with team members.
- Work under the direction/supervision of the Site Superintendent
- Loading and unloading materials, cleanup, and miscellaneous duties
- Assemble or break down structures
- Familiarise with the materials, tools, and machinery used
- Be team‑oriented and communicate effectively with co‑workers
- Ensure all safety standards are followed when working on construction job sites
- Commit to ongoing training and demonstrate a strong work ethic
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Minimum of three years of construction experience
- Experience with concrete is an asset
- Ability to work at a variety of locations, in the Fraser Valley or Lower Mainland, individually or in teams
- MEWP, Telehandler, and Skidsteer Training certifications are desired
- Must be open to performing physical activities (lifting equipment up to 50 lbs)
- Demonstrate ability to use manual tools and equipment safely
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Work a flexible schedule, including night shifts
- Valid BC Driver’s License
