As an Accounting Student for the BC Region district within our Canadian Buildings Division you will be available for 4 months starting in May 2026. This position will be under the direct supervision of the Accounting Manager.

Here’s how an Accounting Student contributes to our team:

• Entering invoices into the PCL accounting system.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Inter‑company invoicing.
• Courier and phone costing.
• Running and updating reports.
• Reconciling supplier statements.
• Fielding telephone calls, filing, and data entry; typing of various correspondence and formatting of documents.
• Filling in for office receptionist as required (multi‑line switchboard with paging system).
• Assisting with board meeting preparation (coordination of information, preparing tabs, distribution of board material, room setup, and beverage/food setup).
• Assisting with overflow work from other administrative staff.

• Must be proficient on the computer and have intermediate skills in MS software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Flexible, enthusiastic and energetic.

Pay range: $19.88 - $24.38. PCL student wages are determined individually for each student based on the number of completed school terms, relevant work terms, kind of role and work location.
