Senior Accountant

We are looking for a Cantonese or Mandarin speaking Senior Accountant to join our Richmond team. This role owns key month end and year end activities, supports day to day accounting operations, and partners with internal teams to keep reporting accurate, timely, and audit ready.

• Lead monthly close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Prepare financial statements and internal reporting packages
• Manage accounts payable and receivable oversight, including payment runs and customer collections support
• Complete bank and balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong supporting documentation
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Assist with GST and other tax filings as required
• Coordinate audit preparation and respond to audit requests
• Improve processes, controls, and documentation across accounting workflows
• Collaborate with operations and leadership to resolve issues quickly and keep numbers clean

• 3 plus years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong month end close and reconciliation experience
• Solid understanding of Canadian accounting standards and internal controls
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working in an ERP environment
• Strong attention to detail, good judgment, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Clear communication skills and a practical, solution focused approach
• Cantonese or Mandarin is a definite asset

Salary range:
Base salary is $75,000 to $100,000
