Truck Driver - Local Class A

Immediate Opportunities:
Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers

Earn $32 per hour. Overtime after 40 hours. 2 consecutive days off. Local, home daily.

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
• Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
• Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
• 35 stops per week

• Dispatch time 5am
• 5 day schedule:
  Tuesday to Saturday
• Average 50 hours per week
• Home daily

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• English language proficiency required to comply with federal law
• Work the required schedule, be based at the required location, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation and drug screening
• Position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive; ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safety is required

• Visual and hearing abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Movement: ability to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. Lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally up to 100 lbs (45 kg)
• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area
