Mechanical Maintenance Technician (Nights)

Join our maintenance team and play a key role in keeping our facility running efficiently and safely. This position is ideal for individuals with mechanical or industrial maintenance experience who take pride in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment in a fast‑paced environment.

Mon‑Friday nights 7 PM–7:30 AM
OR
Thursday‑Saturday and every other Wednesday 7 PM–7:30 AM

• Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, and electrical systems while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical assets that impact daily operations, facility structures, and.timestamps.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on material handling equipment and refrigeration systems (ammonia, Freon, and/or CO₂).
• At automated sites, perform maintenance on components such as proximity switches, photoelectric sensors, pressure switches, and push buttons.
• Operate and maintain power tools, welding equipment, and motorized lifts to support maintenance tasks.
• Away assigned work orders and collaborate with team members to ensure equipment reliability and minimal downtime.

• Mechanical or industrial maintenance experience preferred—backgrounds in building maintenance, equipment repair, or refrigeration are a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools and the ability to read and follow maintenance instructions.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using habari maintenance systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively across all levels of the facility.
• Physically able to lift at least 50 lbs and work in cold or warm environments (from –20 °F to 100 °F depending on site conditions).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends if needed.
• Ability to safely work ataxo heights and around varying noise levels.

Pay Range: $17.45 - $29.47 per hour
