Under the direction of the ASC Manager, the RN has direct responsibility for the care of the patient during the intraoperative phase of surgery and endoscopic procedures. The RN utilizes the nursing process to provide comprehensive nursing care during the peri‑operative phase, coordinates total patient care with the health care team, acts as a patient advocate, and serves as a liaison among physicians, staff, patients, and families to facilitate safe and effective patient care.

The RN also assists in providing direction to support staff.

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
• 1 year nursing experience.

• Certification in related specialty area upon hire.
