Location: Richland WA

Position Overview

The Facilities & Equipment Maintenance supervisor is knowledgeable of local building codes, OSHA, State and Federal health and safety regulations. Demonstrates supervisory skills in leadership, communication, staff development and customer service, while supervising and coordinating the day-to-day work of employees/vendors who repair and maintain facilities, equipment, and machinery.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma, GED, Vocational, or technical training in facilities maintenance, building systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience in facilities, building, or equipment maintenance.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory or leadership experience in facilities, building, equipment maintenance, or a related setting, including oversight of staff, contractors, and/or vendors.
  • Working knowledge of basic building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repairs).
  • Knowledge of applicable safety and regulatory requirements (e.g. OSHA)
  • Basic computer proficiency for communication and work order documentation.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, as driving is an essential function of this role. Must meet insurance eligibility requirements.
  • This position is designated as Safety Sensitive. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, which includes cannabis testing in Washington State.
  • Ability to report to the assigned work location(s) as scheduled and maintain consistent, reliable attendance.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Bilingual in Spanish and English, with the ability to speak, read, write, and communicate effectively in both languages.

    Compensation

    Hiring Range: $81,915.97/anually - $/anually

    Note regarding the listed pay range: The starting pay range offered to new hires, depending on experience and qualifications.

    At Tri-Cities Chaplaincy, we carefully establish pay ranges for our positions by taking various factors into account, including education, certifications, knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions. These ranges are tailored to match the diverse programs and services we offer. Our goal is to ensure fair compensation for candidates based on these factors while maintaining internal peer equity.
